As far as I know, it only grants protection against Chameleos' breath effects.
Maybe it was a confusion people made with this skill (only present in MHFO and MH2) and Flute Expert (not present in MH2).

Do you know something about the legendary craftsman? I didn't notice him and I missed the opportunity to take the Lao's quest and do the teskas armors. How can I make him appear again?

Other thing: I really want to make the khezu s armor, is it possible offline? If not, What is the best set with fortune (or lucky) skill available offline?

Thanks for such useful site, Internet lacks in information about MH2.

In order to make the Legendary Blacksmith appear, you must evolve blacksmith to lv3, then complete some blue bubbles for people from smith.

Yes, it is possible. It requires Pale Bone. The offline armor combo for 2nd lvl of that skill uses parts of khezu S, I can't remember the exact parts needed though.

You're welcome! :)

Vax-san, does it really worth the fortune (fate, luck, wathever...) skill to get rare itens like kushal claws, dragon bloods and rath plates? I've got the armor with the second lvl of that skill.

And where can I find luxury coin?

Thanks vax-san, you're kind of a MH2 guru for me. É Brasil ownando nos games!

Hi
Sry for really late reply... :(

That skill affects quest and subquest rewards, but not break rewards and carve. So, for example, as in LR quests Daora Claws can only be gotten by break reward, the skill won't affect it.

Luxury Coins are obtained when you score more than 10k points in training quests.

I'm glad I can help! :)

PS: It's better if you ask questions in one of the forums in the "Links" section.

Hi.
Sry. It's too late, but here is the answer:

In the links section of this site, go to penguinoverlord . There you'll be able to find the weapons' trees with materials to make.
As it is a HR weapon, it'll require Guild Registry Code to be upgraded.

PS: It's better if you ask questions in one of the forums in the "Links" section. As I assuming you don't understand portuguese, go for gamefaqs, I frequently check there for questions.

0 # Monster Hunter Dos Damage System?Dave 2013-04-24 11:44
Hey Vax, i noticed you did a table with the Monsters Weak Points and Damages, but you know how is it calculated? I mean, when you put: "100 Cut Damage" is it 100% damage of the actual sword or 100 Raw Damage?
Thanks and good job!

Hi! Please use this forum(click) for these kind of questions, because I check here very rarely.

It means that body region takes 100% of raw (non-elemental) cutting-type damage.

Dmg formula is like this one from MHF2(click). 100 would be the "HITZONE" factor.

Thank you!
